A 2mm women’s wetsuit is designed for warm weather conditions where you mainly want lightweight protection while maintaining maximum flexibility. In general, a 2mm wetsuit is suitable for water temperatures of around 18 degrees Celsius and above. While a 2mm women’s wetsuit offers less insulation than a 4/3mm or 5/4mm wetsuit, it still provides excellent protection against wind chill, cooler water, and long exposure to the sun during summer sessions. Especially during longer sessions, you’ll notice the difference compared to wearing only a bikini or swimwear. There are always those summer days when you’re glad you decided to wear a wetsuit.
